VSATPlus
3 - PolarSat announces VSATPlus 3 availability
in 2007
PolarSat Inc. has unveiled preliminary
information pertaining to VSATPlus 3, the
much-anticipated addition to the stellar VSATPlus
product line.
The VSATPlus 3 will
address the growing IP-centric market area. The existing
VSATPlus II product will continue to address high-end
applications which require
a mix of circuit-switched and packet-switched applications.
Although not yet available for shipment, PolarSat made the
decision
to go public with the product at this time in order to allow
customers to properly plan
their network rollouts and expansions.
VSATPlus 3 salient features include Turbo Coding,
higher order modulation (QPSK
and 8PSK), integrated IP routing as well as an Integrated
Intelligent Edge Device
that provides enhanced IP functionality. The VSATPlus
3 builds upon PolarSat’s 25+
years of satellite modem experience to continue to provide
a robust and reliable
MF-TDMA, full mesh, hubless product. |
