Intelligent Edge Device and Turbo Coding The SkyIP 600 remote terminal with its combination of field proven satellite functionality for on demand networks, combined with enhanced TCP/IP functionality, is a state of the art satellite modem optimized for IP based services and web access. Enhanced IP functionality enables users or service providers to efficiently handle not just Internet access, but also to use satellite broadband connections offering IP VPNs, voice, multimedia, encryption and high-value services tailored to each subscriber or class of users. In short it greatly improves the end users’ experience when they access the enterprise LAN over satellite.
