PolarSat ships 55 VSATs to Marpless
Communication Technologies
Montreal, Quebec, Canada, April 27,
2006 – PolarSat is proud to announce that it has shipped a
fifty five (55) FlexiDAMA VSAT sites network to Marpless Communication
Technologies for the first phase of a private network within Africa.
The network will include IP-based voice and data communication using
PolarSat’s advanced VSAT Technology.
PolarSat’s FlexiDAMA product was selected as it provides state-of-the-art
IP functionality including advanced Bandwidth on Demand (BoD), DAMA
(Demand Assigned Multiple Access) capabilities and Turbo Product
Codes. These features continue to strengthen FlexiDAMA’s industry
leading position for cost-effective satellite networking.
